1. Introduction/Details
In preparation of the contract simplifications in EURO STOXX 50® Variance Futures (Product ID: EVAR), as announced with the “Preliminary Release Notes for T7 Release 10.1” in Eurex Exchange Readiness Newsflash as of 1 February 2022, the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland decided to suspend the product from trading until T7 Release 10.1 is in production.
The trading suspension will begin on 28 February 2022. Trading in EURO STOXX 50® Variance Futures will resume on 27 June 2022 with the introduction of T7 Release 10.1.
Start of trading suspension: 28 February 2022
Restart of trading: 27 June 2022
2. Required action
Trading Participants are requested to consider the suspension of trading for their trading activities accordingly.
