Eurex Repo Readiness Newsflash | Eurex Repo F7 Production: Decommissioning of deprecated self-signed client certificates (API, GUI)

Dear participants,

With this Newsflash, Eurex Repo wants to inform you about the decommissioning of the deprecated self-signed client certificates (API, GUI) in F7 Production.

After the successful decommissioning of all self-signed client certificates in the F7 Simulation environment, Eurex Repo will continue with the announced timeline.

On 27 April 2024, Eurex Repo F7 will decommission all self-signed client certificates for API and GUI in the F7 Production environment.

All customers are required to switch to the new DBAG signed client certificates on or prior to 27 April 2024. Usage of the deprecated self-signed client certificates in F7 Production will no longer be possible after 27 April 2024.

Please use the tile labeled “Eurex Repo F7 GUI/API/FIX” under the following path: Technical Connection > Requests & Configuration > Self Service Certificate in the Member Section​​ of Deutsche Börse Group to create and manage these new DBAG signed client certificates for all types of Eurex Repo F7 access.

Please see the document “F7 Connectivity Guide”, chapter 6, for a full description of the new DBAG signed client certificate workflow. The document can be downloaded from the Eurex website under Support > F7 Trading System > Connectivity, and from the Member Section​ following this path: Resources > Eurex Repo > System Documentation > Access and Certificates.

In a final step, the F7 Advanced Simulation environment will decommission all self-signed client certificates on 11 May 2024.

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

Please find further information about incident handling in the Emergency Playbook published on the Eurex webpage under Support --> Emergencies and safeguards. Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message. 

We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.
