Eurex Readiness Newsflash | Member Section Release March 2024

Dear customer, 

With this Newsflash, Eurex announces the introduction of the next Member Section enhancements: Release March 2024, which has been available since 25 March 2024.

The following enhancement has been introduced:

  • PIN for questionnaire submission (e.g. Readiness Statements) available via the Member Section

Central Coordinators use the PIN during submissions of Readiness Statements or Due Diligence Questionnaires via online forms. This PIN is required for the verification of identities when submitting such forms.

With this Member Section release, the Trading PIN has been available within in the Member Section under the following path: My Profile > PIN.

Please note that the PIN icon, and its associated data, are only visible to Central Coordinators and their Deputies, who now have the PIN on hand with no need to receive a reminder or to contact Deutsche Börse in this context.

Eurex strongly recommends keeping the PIN secure to avoid misuse.

With the availability of the PIN within the Member Section, Deutsche Börse will not send out the PIN via e-mail notifications anymore.

All Central Coordinators are asked to review their Member Section contacts and ensure that at least one Deputy is set up in the Member Section to help ensure that the PIN is available when required.

Market Status

XEUR

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

Please find further information about incident handling in the Emergency Playbook published on the Eurex webpage under Support --> Emergencies and safeguards. Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message. 

We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.
