Eurex Circular 031/22 Equity and Equity Index Derivatives: Delisting of Russian derivatives

UPDATE, published on 8 April 2022:

In deviation from circular 031/22 dated 30 March 2022, the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland has decided to cancel the admission to trading of the following equity and index derivatives already with effect from 11 April 2022. Please refer to the correspondingly adjusted Contract Specifications for Futures Contracts and Options Contracts at Eurex Deutschland as well as the related Annexes in the Attachment. Apart from that, there are no changes to this circular.

1.   Introduction

In Eurex circulars 023/22, 024/22 and 025/22, Eurex announced termination of trading in eight single stock and four equity index derivatives, as well as suspension of trading in additional eleven single stock derivatives and one equity index derivative.

Therefore, the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland took the following decisions with effect from 11 April 2022:

  • Cancellation of admission to trading for three Equity Index Futures and two Equity Index Options pursuant to Part 1 Subpart 1.3 and Part 2 Subpart 2.4 of the Contract Specifications for Futures Contracts and Options Contracts at Eurex Deutschland (Attachment 2)
  • Cancellation of admission to trading for twelve Single Stock Futures and seven Equity Options pursuant to Annex A and Annex B to the Contract Specifications (Attachment 3)
  • Termination of “Product Specific Supplement for Futures on RDX® USD Index” (Attachment 4) and “Product Specific Supplement for Options on RDX® USD” (Attachment 5) as of 1 May 2022
  • Adjustment of “Product Specific Supplement for Equity Options and Selected Equity Index Options” (Attachment 6), “Product Specific Supplement for Futures on MSCI Indices” (Attachment 7) and “Product Specific Supplement for Options on MSCI Indices” (Attachment 8) as of 1 May 2022
  • Further editorial changes to the Annexes to the Contract Specifications for Futures Contracts and Options Contracts at Eurex Deutschland pursuant to Attachment 3.

This circular contains all information on the delisting of the products and the updated sections of the relevant Rules and Regulations of Eurex Deutschland.
