Eurex Clearing has three clearing currencies, EUR, CHF and GBP. Once a clearing currency has been chosen, the nominated account will be automatically debited and/or credited in that currency as part of the end of day process. In addition, it is also the currency in which the Difference Claim is calculated.
The CM’s clearing currency applies to all collateral pools under the CM unless another pool currency has been chosen for dedicated collateral pools.
