T7 Release 6.0

T7 Release 6.0 was launched on 4 December 2017. An overview of the release content relevant for Eurex customers is provided on this page. Eurex is committed to providing its customers with information updates throughout the development of every release in order to support adequate panning and to ensure a successful launch. To ensure effective information distribution, we kindly ask interested persons to subscribe to the RSS feed of this page.

The enhancements of this release did include:

  • MiFID II / MiFIR regulatory requirements
  • Technical enhancement regarding the first-in-first-out (FIFO) gateways
  • The all-new Liquidity Discovery Service (to help members to fulfil best ex requirements, streamline lengthy voice/IB process, increase market transparency and to ensure business continuity).
  • Entry of leg trade prices for TES trades in complex instruments
  • Initial boundary price based on settlement price and quote spreads
  • Delta validation for option volatility strategies

With T7 Release 6.0, the ETI and FIX version 5.0 will no longer be supported. Trading participants need to implement the regulatory requirements they are affected with. All relevant documentation describing T7 6.0 major functional and system changes can be found here.

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.

An instant update of the Market Status requires an enabled up-to date Java™ version within the browser.
