Eurex Exchange Readiness Newsflash | Inter-Product Spreads in Fixed Income Futures now available in simulation

Eurex Exchange Readiness Newsflash

Dear Eurex Participant,

As of 14 June 2019, Eurex Inter-Product Spreads (IPS) for Fixed Income Futures are available in simulation.

The planned production go-live of IPS for Fixed Income Futures as a standardised futures inter-product spread strategy is 16 September 2019.

The initial IPS product offering will include IPS strategies comprising the leg instruments FGBL-FGBX, FBTP-FGBL and FGBS-FBTS (same partition). An additional set of IPS strategies (cross-partition) will follow after the introduction of T7 Release 8.0.

IPS Strategies at Eurex will trade in separate nonimplied order books.

As the launch of IPS Strategies is subject to the approval by the Exchange Council of Eurex Deutschland (expected for 27 June 2019), the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland will approve and publish the rule changes in an additional circular at a later stage.
