Dividend Derivatives: Amendment of the „Product Specific Supplement” for EURO STOXX 50® Index Dividend Options

1.   Introduction

The Management Board of Eurex Deutschland and the Executive Board of Eurex Frankfurt AG took the following decision with effect from 1 September 2020:

  • Amendment of the “Product Specific Supplement for EURO STOXX 50® Index Dividend Options 

To ensure the development of liquidity and an efficient market, the requirements for the Liquidity Provider scheme are being amended in order to be closer aligned with market needs. 

The new quotation requirements will be valid from 1 September 2020 until 31 December 2020.

2.   Required action

There is no action required for existing Liquidity Providers. New interested Liquidity Providers are invited to participate in the scheme to have the opportunity to benefit from the available incentives by fulfilling the amended quote requirements.

3.   Details

This circular provides information on the new quotation requirements for EURO STOXX 50® Index Dividend Options (Eurex product ID: OEXD) effective from 1 September 2020 until 31 December 2020.

The Product Specific Supplement shall be amended with effect from 1 September 2020 according to the Attachment. The amendments will be deemed to have been approved if Liquidity Providers do not lodge objections within fifteen (15) business days of notification of the amendment according to clause 4 (2) of the Liquidity Provider Agreement.
