The Eurex Repo F7 simulation environment will be down at 11:00 am CEST on Thursday, October 7th, 2021 for the update to F7 release 3.6.
Eurex Repo will conduct internal tests on October 8th and the 3.6 Simulation period will commence starting Monday, October 11th.
With the start of the business day on Monday, October 11th the software version for Repo F7 simulation will be 003.640.000.
Release 3.6 is a GUI upgrade and the launch of the new F7 FIX Gateway.
There are no functional changes to the API and therefore the API version numbers will not change.
Release 3.6 also includes a technical upgrade that applies to all users of the F7 API.
API users may have to adapt their software prior to the upgrade. The usage of the F7 Trader GUI is not affected by this change (see below).
It is always strongly recommended that all API customers (including ISVs) perform a regression test during the simulation period.
Release 3.6 includes the following changes:
F7 API will be upgraded to use Red Hat AMQ Version 7.8.1 brokers, which is based on Apache ActiveMQ "Artemis".
Earlier versions of the Red Hat AMQ broker allowed clients to specify topics and queues either with a prefix "topic://", "queue://" or without such a prefix when creating a message consumer.
With the upgrade to AMQ Version 7.8.1, using prefixes may no longer work for some clients.
To avoid any potential issues with the new broker version we recommend to omit prefixes while specifying a queue or topic message consumer.
F7 GUI users are strongly recommended to clear the browser cache after the release introduction, to ensure that the newly introduced GUI functionalities behave correctly.

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.
