Eurex Repo F7 Advanced Simulation renewal of broker/server certificates

The following change only affects API/POA applications.

The usage of the F7 Trader GUI is not affected by this change.

On Wednesday, September 22th, 2021 Eurex Repo will install new broker/server certificates in the F7 Advanced Simulation environment, as the current Eurex Repo F7 API broker/server certificates for Advanced Simulation will expire.

These new broker/server certificates for Eurex Repo F7 API will be installed in Advanced Simulation on the evening of Wednesday, September 22th, 2021.

F7 API client applications connecting to F7 Advanced Simulation will need to add these new broker/server certificates to their truststores to be able to connect to Advanced Simulation after September 22th, 2021.

Please download the new broker/server certificates for Advanced Simulation from the Eurex Repo Member Section by following this path:

https://membersection.deutsche-boerse.com/portal/ > Resources > Eurex Repo > System Documentation > Access and Certificates > “F7_BrokerCertsAdvSimu_20210922.zip”

These new certificates, once extracted from the ZIP file, can be added to your existing truststore (using a new alias) for example by using commands like the ones outlined below:

keytool –import –file advsimu-f7-api_eurexrepo_com_cert.crt –keystore <PATH TO YOUR TRUSTSTORE> -alias f7apiserver2021advsim

keytool –import –file advsimu-f7-api_vpn_eurexrepo_com_cert.crt –keystore <PATH TO YOUR TRUSTSTORE> -alias f7apivpnserver2021advsim

See chapter 7.1.3 of the document “Eurex Repo F7 Connectivity Guide” (can be downloaded from the same location) for general details on handling broker/server certificates in F7 API.

The new broker/server certificates can be downloaded and added alongside existing certificates in existing truststores at any convenient point in time prior to September 22th, 2021.

Failure to download and install these new certificates will prevent API/POA applications from connecting to Eurex Repo’s F7 Advanced Simulation environment after Wednesday September 22th, 2021.
