Dear Eurex Participant,

Further to the recent Eurex Exchange Readiness Newsflash from 27 October 2022, announcing additional testing opportunities in simulation to facilitate the Next Generation ETD Contracts testing, we would like to offer the following event in simulation:

Additional corporate action on 29 November 2022

On business date 29 November 2022, an R-factor corporate action adjustment on Single Stock Option “AFR” with effective date and business date 30 November 2022 will be initiated in the simulation environment. The product will be adjusted with R-factor of 0.95.

The goal of the corporate action is to increment the current generation number from 9 to 10. A double-digit generation number is an enhancement introduced in T7 Release 11.0.

All details on this Release can be found on the Eurex website under the following path: Support > Initiatives & Releases > T7 Release 11.0.

In addition, the Single Stock Option AFR will be equipped with weekly expiring contracts to provide a testing opportunity in capital adjusted monthly and weekly expiring options contracts. The activation of a weekly contract lifecycle in the Single Stock Option AFR will take place two weeks prior to the capital adjustment and will be performed in one step. In alignment with other Single Stock Options supporting weekly expiring contracts in the simulation environment, the weekly expiring options contracts will be set-up as Thursday expiring options contracts. 

Trading and Clearing participants are encouraged to test to ensure a smooth transition to the new Next Generation ETD concept. Trading and Clearing simulation batch days and events are available on the simulation calendar. The simulation calendar can be found on the Eurex website under the following path:
