OTC Block Trades

The OTC Block Trade facility is available for the following Eurex products and the following minimum number of traded contracts.

Option strategies or option volatility strategies on the basis of Eurex options listed in the table are also admitted to the OTC Block Trade facility. The minimum block trade size of option strategies or option volatility strategies is equivalent to the minimum block trade size of the respective underlying option contracts of the strategy.

The Bulk Load Panel within the OTC Block Trade facility further enhances the efficiency in trading futures. This function enables the import of multiple OTC Block Trades in futures directly from a file in csv format into the Eurex® system.

As of Eurex Release 12 the Bulk Load Panel will also be available for trading options via the OTC Block Trade facility.

In the tables below please find the Bulk Load import templates and the relevant excerpts of the functional notes "Eurex @X-ceed Trading User Guide", respectively for Eurex Release 11 (Production) and Eurex Release 12 (Simulation).

Since January 14, 2009, OTC Block Trades in Single Stock Futures which exceed 999 lots are not being disclosed intra-day in the relevant GUI windows. More details can be found here.
