Eurex Release 14.0

With Eurex Release 14.0, which is live since November 7, 2011, we give members even more flexibility in connecting to the Eurex network.

Eurex members benefit from a significant reduction in programming complexity thanks to new connectivity options featuring the industry standards FIX and FIXML. In line with our Technology Roadmap, the changes in the new release lay the groundwork for a medium-term decommissioning of the VALUES API infrastructure. Extending our ground breaking Advanced Risk Protection feature to include EurexOTC trade entries and enhancements to our collateral management services are only some additional innovations the new software will introduce.

More ways to connect to the Eurex network means that users from 30 countries around the world enjoy greater flexibility and customized access to more than 1600 products.

Screencasts on New Connectivity Options To provide you with more in-depth information on our new FIX/FIXML-based interfaces we offer a series of screencasts covering all new connection opportunities. Our experts introduce you to the specifics and benefits of the new interfaces to make sure that you are well prepared for a smooth migration. more		Enhanced cash collateral management Clearing members can manage cash collateral via the Eurex Clearing GUI. This change further complements Eurex's collateral management services, which allow for more optimized use of valuable collateral. more		Advanced Risk Protection The Advanced Risk Protection feature is extended to also cover transactions entered via EurexOTC Trade Entry services. Indicative risk amounts for pending transactions are checked against pre-defined risk limits and if they breach those, they will be rejected. The approach improves current risk checks, which only consider order size. more
