Enhanced Transaction Solution

The following changes are made to the Enhanced Transaction Solution trading interface.

Introduction of a new Enhanced Transaction Solution session type

To provide members with a higher degree of flexibility in choosing the appropriate infrastructure best suited to their trading models, we will introduce an additional Enhanced Transaction Solution session type. The new session type will have a lower throttle setting of 50 transactions per second and will be offered at a reduced price while maintaining the same functionality.

Support for Cross Requests

To support the additional entry of Cross Requests the Interest Type Code field of the (User) Enter Trading Interest message, are extended by an additional valid value "C" (Cross Request). This is an enhancement over the previous situation in which the Enhanced Transaction Solution interface only supported the entry of Quote Requests. It brings additional functionality to the interface.

Implementation of a Subscription Mechanism

The implementation of a subscription mechanism with Eurex Release 14.0 enables members to opt for the receipt of recoverable order status notifications on a session level. This provides an additional safety net in the case that Order Status Notifications are missing.

In the event that a session has not subscribed to Recoverable Order Status Notifications (TM Event Notification), the messages will not be provided and hence the message traffic will be reduced delivering a lower latency. For subscription purpose an addition flag is added to the (User) Session Logon request. In order to minimize impact for members, the default for a session is the receipt of recoverable order status notifications and therefore they must explicitly be unsubscribed.
