Enhanced Confirmation Solution - NewIn November 2010, Eurex Exchange launches the Enhanced Confirmation Solution, giving members the ability to receive recoverable order, trade and matching event information independent of the MISS architecture. The new, FIX-compatible interface is based on the same technology as Eurex's existing Enhanced Transaction Solution socket-based interface. Like Eurex Group's other high-frequency interfaces, the Enhanced Confirmation Solution is faster, as well as easier to develop and maintain relative to the MISS architecture. However, the major advantage of the new interface is that it gives members the opportunity to migrate away from the MISS architecture for front office/trading activities. Members benefit from additional flexibility, as Eurex does not restrict customer choice in terms of operating system, language or compilers. Broadcast StreamsMembers can subscribe to streams using a new broadcast session, just as they were able to subscribe to the streams via the MISS. A retransmission service allows any missing data to be re-requested. The following streams will be available:
Network Connectivity & Broadcast SessionsLike with the other high-frequency interfaces, members have a choice of network connection alternatives, including dedicated and shared lines, of either 1 or 10 mbit/s. Members will be given two broadcast sessions free of charge. Additional charges for extra sessions will apply. Dedicated Gateway for Optimal PerformanceThe Enhanced Confirmation Solution has its own exchange gateway infrastructure in order to prevent any performance impact on order or quote management activities.          |
