Enhanced Transaction Solution

Eurex Release 12.0, will introduce additional functionality for the Enhanced Transaction Solution interface. These features will broaden the range of trading activities currently available via this optional interface. Additions include:

Lifecycles for Quotes

Eurex Release 12.0 introduces a lifecycle for quotes that is similar to that of orders. In addition, the concept of total quantities for quotes will be added. The lifecycle begins with a Quote/Mass Quote entry and lasts as long as the quote is not fully executed, deleted, modified or replaced by another quote.

Single-Sided Quotes

Please note that existing VALUES API functionality is also affected by the introduction of this functionality.

As of Eurex Release 12.0, the unspecified side of a single-sided quote will remain in the order book and will not be deleted if the quote has a positive spread. If a single-sided:

  • Buy quote is greater than or equal to the unspecified, but existing, sell quote side, the sell side of the quote will be deleted.
  • Sell quote is lower than or equal to the unspecified, but existing, buy quote side, the buy-side of the quote will be deleted.

Text Fields for Quotes and System Order ID Handling

The Enhanced Transaction Solution Enter Quote, Enter Mass Quote, Modify Quote and Modify Mass Quote requests will be extended by three customer-related, free form text fields. Existing values of the fields for a quote already in the order book will be adopted if they are left blank in the request. The definition of default values will not be possible.

Mass Order Delete Functionality

Prior to Eurex Release 12.0, Mass Delete functionality has been restricted to options quotes only. After the introduction of Eurex Release 12.0 the Delete Order Request will allow the multiple deletions of futures (SLeg/DLeg) and options (SLeg only). The number of orders permitted per Mass Delete request will remain unchanged at 12 orders.

Trade Reversal Reporting

A trade reversal of an option or futures trade for which the original order/quote was entered via the Enhanced Transaction Solution will be reported by a Solution Event Notification. This will contain a reason code, session ID and the client order ID (responsible for the trade).
