Trading Hours & Holidays

Trading & Clearing Hours

Trading/clearing hours will be those of ISE, listed in CST and CDT, as shown in the diagram below. Post-trading hours will be until 17:00 CST (18:00 CDT/00:00 CET).

Operating hours of OCC are daily from Monday-Friday from 06:00-19:00 CST (07:00-20:00 CDT) plus "Expiration Saturdays" when OCC will exercise all ITM positions automatically.

Trading/clearing hours will be as shown in the diagram below.



Holidays

As European and U.S. exchange holidays will occasionally differ, the following measures will be put in place to deal with them:

Holiday Open/Closed Action
ISE Open: Eurex Clearing

Closed: ISE OCC 		U.S. positions may be adjusted at Eurex. No exercise will be possible.
Eurex Clearing Open: ISE, OCC, DTCC

Closed: Eurex Clearing 		Eurex Members will not be able to trade at ISE. U.S. products may be traded at ISE, but cannot be cleared at Eurex. Eurex will process OCC/DTCC files on the next European business day.

A new U.S. clearing calendar containing all OCC non-business days will be created in the T060/T065 reports. It will be checked in addition to the Eurex trading calendar. When the OCC is not open for business, U.S. products will be placed in the "HOLID" product state.
