Exercise/Assignment
Members will be able to exercise their USD-denominated ISE option positions in the same way that they exercise
normal Eurex options by using the Exercise Overview Window in the @X-tract Clearing GUI. The Exercise/Assignment
procedure of U.S. options at Eurex can be divided into three categories:

Manual Exercise Options of ETFs prior to Expiration
American-style options can be exercised daily in the Exercise Overview window. No exercise will be possible for
ISE products on OCC holidays.

Exercise of Options on Equities and ETFs on Expiration Day
Exercise can be performed at Eurex on the Friday prior to Expiration Saturday. The OCC will automatically exercise
all In-the Money options unless otherwise specified.

Exercise of Index and FX Options on Expiration Day
Exercise/Assignment as well as the settlement of European index and cash settled FX options can be performed.
