Eurex Group gives members the flexibility to choose how they connect to the integrated, fully electronic derivatives trading and clearing platform. In order to meet client expectations with respect to innovative, reliable and cost-efficient technologies, Eurex Group offers various connection alternatives designed to meet the needs of all types of participants for accessing Eurex Exchange or Eurex Clearing.

To keep pace with technological advances as well as meet customer demand for speed and reliability Eurex continually optimizes its technology. These measures have further improved system performance, which has been the key to accommodating the growth in high-frequency trading strategies in the marketplace.

With Eurex Release 14.0, which will go live in November 2011, Eurex Group will introduce FIX and FIXML interfaces that will allow members to benefit from a significant reduction in programming complexity. These interfaces will permit the medium term decommissioning of the current VALUES API interface for both trading and clearing.
