GUI Enhancements

A variety of Graphical User Interface (GUI) improvements also form part of Eurex Release 11.0. These changes will improve execution efficiency and will make the trading and clearing front-ends easier for customers to use. The GUI enhancements will help traders as well as system administrators perform their daily business in a more efficient manner. Enhancements will be made to both the @X-ceed Trading GUI and @X-tract Clearing GUI. The changes include:

  • A quick search field for product information in the following windows:
    • Statistics Overview
    • Own Trade Overview
    • Own Quote Overview
    • Own Order Overview
  • A Related Trades (Rel. Trades) button that, when pressed, will display trades with the same properties as the selected order or quote. The Rel. Trades button will be included in the Own Order Overview and Own Quote Overview windows.

  • Addition of a text field in the Own Order Overview, Own Quote Overview and Own Trade Overview windows and an integrated text search feature in these Overview windows.

  • The TimeFrom and TimeTo fields will be consolidated to one TimeFrom/To field to save screen space in the Own Trade Overview window.

  • Automatic broadcast update of the Market Supervision Messages window.

  • Both GUIs will allow the export of data to Microsoft Excel.

  • Maintaining maximum order quantities and product/product group assignment and de-assignment will be supported on trader subgroup level.

  • A delete maintenance function, which re-sets automatic exercise parameters to the Eurex defined defaults, will be added to the Automatic Exercise Parameter Maintenance window.

  • The Strategy Selection window will be enhanced to display a pop-up dialog box to show that editable expiration or exercise price entry fields in the window are updated automatically.

  • New fields will be added to the Strategy Selection window. They display buy/sell indicators and quantities of the trades resulting from execution of strategy orders. A confirmation Preview window opens to show whether a strategy OTC Block Trade has been submitted or approved. The preview window gives information about the resulting positions.
