Risk Management Features

With Eurex Release 11.0, Eurex Clearing continues to set benchmarks for risk management in the derivatives industry. A major focus of the new release is to further enhance risk monitoring by enabling clearing members to manage their post-trade activities in real time. By increasing the frequency of consolidated information submitted to Clearing Members about their overall risk exposure, the clearing house augments its early warning system and thus improves the safety and integrity of the financial markets overall.

Features included within the new release focus on increasing the frequency of important risk reports delivered to Clearing Members. In parallel, a new emergency stop button feature allows Members to increase the supervision of individual trader IDs, which encompasses both individuals and algorithms that run under specific trader IDs.
