Cash ModuleIn Eurex Release 11.0, the cash module (cash routing management engine) will be introduced. It will centralize Eurex Clearing's cash flows in order to handle them more efficiently. The engine will support the use of real-time gross settlement accounts in the Target 2 environment, allowing the use of non-German central bank accounts. This new engine also allows for optimization of funding costs as it allows for optional netting of cash payments on a Clearing Member level across different Clearing Licenses. The Cash Account Detail Overview window will be replaced by the Daily Cash Transaction Overview window. The CashBalance field group will no longer be available. A summary of the daily cash transactions will be available in the new "RPTCD009 Daily Cash Transactions" report. The report "RPTCD010 Daily Cash Account Statement" will contain detailed information about all cash transactions and the resulting cash instructions. Information about cash balances will no longer be available on report "RPTCD010 Daily Cash Account Statement" but be provided through the collateral reports "RPTCD020 Cash and Security Movement and Specific Equity Collateral" and "RPTCD031 Daily Cash and Securities Valuation". The new reports "RPTCD011 Daily Cash Account Statement for Account Holder" and "RPTCD071 Monthly Cash Account Statement for Account Holder" display cash instructions for correspondent banks. Prerequisite for receiving these reports is a MISS access. Eurex Market Supervision will be able to maintain and inquire about cash transactions for Clearing Members through the Cash Transaction Maintenance window. A new tab Cash Limit will be added to the Member General Information window. Eurex Market Supervision will be able to maintain cash limits for a member in a particular currency. |
