Eurex Repo Readiness Newsflash | Eurex Repo F7 Production Release 4.1: Internal Upgrade

Dear Participants,

With this Newsflash, Eurex Repo wants to inform you about the Eurex Repo Production Release 4.1.

The Eurex Repo F7 Production environment will be updated to version F7 Release 4.1 on Saturday, 20 April 2024.

On Saturday evening, an Implementation News message will announce the completion of the update. After the update, the production system will be technically available in unattended mode (none technical support).

With the start of the business day on Monday, 22 April 2024, the software version for Eurex Repo F7 production will be 004.151.000.

F7 Release 4.1 is an internal upgrade focusing primarily on technical infrastructure and security. There are only minor F7 GUI enhancements and no changes to the F7 API or the F7 FIX Gateway or the F7 MTX that affect F7 customers.

F7 GUI

F7 Release 4.1 includes only minor enhancements to the F7 Trading GUI:

  • Margin Calculator Export for trades now supports the exporting of fixed, variable and open repo trades. The exported file format is compatible with the CPME import format.
  • Unilateral CutOff Time column available on the Product screen is now displayed in user’s local time, fixing the known limitation from Release 4.0 displaying always in CET.

F7 API

F7 Release 4.1 has no changes to the F7 API that affect API customers. All F7 API documentation and XSDs for Release 4.0 remain valid.

With F7 Release 4.1, the only acceptable version number remains as 4.0.

F7 FIX Gateway

F7 Release 4.1 has no changes to the F7 FIX Gateway that affect F7 customers.

All F7 FIX Gateway documentation and FIX44.XML for Release 4.0 remains valid.

F7 MTX

F7 Release 4.1 has no changes to the F7 MTX that affect F7 customers.

All MTX documentation for Release 4.0 remains valid.

F7 GUI users are strongly recommended to clear the browser cache after the Release introduction, to ensure that the newly introduced GUI enhancements behave correctly.

Details are described in the "Eurex Repo F7 4.1 Release Notes", version 2, which has been published in the Member Section of Deutsche Börse Group.
