Clearing Functionalities

In addition to traditional clearing services for Eurex derivatives, Eurex also offers clearing services for cash positions on FWB® Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse (the Frankfurt Stock Exchange) and the Irish Stock Exchange, as well as for the Eurex Bonds and Eurex Repo trading platforms. The clearing services offered include Risk Management, Collateral Management, and the supplementary service Delivery Management as part of the settlement process within the Central Counterparty (CCP) concept.

Eurex Clearing AG provides front-end clearing applications for the two systems - Eurex® and CCP, namely the clearing GUIs @X-tract and @X-pert.

Harmonized Delivery

With the introduction of CCP Release 3.1, Eurex Clearing AG has consolidated the delivery procedures for cash and derivatives market transactions on one platform for the first time.

• Consistent delivery processes in almost all transactions concluded on Eurex, FWB® Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse (the Frankfurt Stock Exchange) (Xetra® and floor), Eurex Bonds, and Eurex Repo
• Fewer delivery instructions and thus lower settlement costs due to the netting of positions due for settlement (settlement netting)
• Automated and harmonized processing of corporate actions on all pending settlement positions from the cash and derivatives markets
