Trading on the derivatives exchange Eurex began on Thursday at 11.00 am CET. The later trading start was the result of connection problems experienced by a number of individual Eurex customers. These connection problems were dependent on the technical infrastructure used by the individual customers.

The reason was a software problem that developed following the interaction with a third party software . By 12.35 p.m. all affected customers were able to reconnect. Trading was fair and orderly from the start of trading, Eurex stated.
