Eurex cancels certain trades between 9.21 a.m. and 9.25 a.m.

As a result of incorrect market participant order entries the international derivatives market Eurex cancelled certain trades in futures and options on the DAX and Euro STOXX 50 indices on Tuesday. The cancellation only affected certain trades that occurred between 9:21 and 9:25 a.m.

In the DAX futures trades were cancelled that traded below 5083.5 points for the December 2001 expiry and below 5121 points for the March 2002 expiry. In the Dow Jones Euro STOXX 50 futures trades were annulled that traded below 3726 points for the December 2001 expiry, below 3750 points for the March 2002 expiry and below 3733 for the June 2002 expiry. Trades in options on the DAX and the Dow Jones Euro STOXX were cancelled according to the respective mistrade rules.
