Student Assistant - IT Eurex Bonds (female/male)

As a student assistant - IT Eurex Bonds you will work in the central team of Eurex Bonds and will deal with a broad variety of tasks regarding the functional support of an electronic trading platform for European bonds. This also includes system analysis and automation of processes in the areas of customer support and information as well as selection, analysis and implementation of new financial products. Furthermore, you will get an insight into the internal structures and processes of an exchange-like financial service provider, who offers its services via the high-perfomance systems and networks of Deutsche Börse Group

Your responsibilities
  • Assist the team with the development and maintenance of tools for processing trading data for external reportings and statistics
  • Support the team with automatizing and optimizing reporting and analysis processes
  • Assist with the maintenance of financial products as well as with the daily tasks of the trading business
Our requirements
  • Students must be enrolled in academic programme recognised by the state during their student assistant
  • Minimum of two years of undergraduate studies (Vordiplom, Bac+2) in information technology or comparable education with excellent knowledge of IT and programming
  • Practical knowledge in more than one of the following areas: Visual Basic for Application (VBA), Java, PHP, Javascript, MS Access, MS Excel, mysql, SQL, Data modelling
  • High interest of previous experience in electronic trading of bonds would be desirable
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English
  • Competent handling of MS-Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint)
  • Ability to work independently as well as very good team and communication skills
