BSP SouthPoolBorzen is the Slovenian spot electricity energy exchange and market operator, which is also active in the region of South East Europe as promoter and adviser of organized markets. Borzen and Eurex are pooling their resources and efforts by establishing a joint corporation which will be known as "BSP Regional Energy Exchange" and branded as "BSP SouthPool". The fundamental objective of the joint venture shall be to establish the leading regional cross-border energy exchange in South Eastern Europe with a spot and derivative market for power, gas and associated energy products. The power exchange will offer services that span from operating a trading platform, matching of offers, clearing to settlement. BSP SouthPool shall provide the market with high quality, complex services of liquid, competitive and transparent organized energy markets. By using its services, market participants will benefit financial security as well as lower risks and costs. Through Eurex Frankfurt AG, the Eurex group maintains a 49 % stake in BSP SouthPool.          |
