Deutsche Börse announces the introduction of the next Member Section enhancements: Member Section Release June 2023, which will be available starting Monday,  05 June 2023.

With this Member Section release, the following enhancements are being introduced:

  • Exchange Trader Admission (eXAS): Enhanced process for control of personal reliability
  • Ordering facility for newly introduced ETI HF Ultra Sessions

Exchange Trader Admission (eXAS): Enhanced process for control of personal reliability

As of 5 June 2023, an enhanced process will be in place in the Member Section for the control of personal reliability of prospective Eurex Traders. The applicants will have to upload a scanned copy of their National ID document or Passport within their eXAS application for their personal details to be verified.

This change does not require any action from Member Section users

Ordering facility for newly introduced ETI HF Ultra Sessions

Eurex Participants will be able to order ETI High Frequency sessions with the new capacity type “ultra” for the simulation environment. ETI High Frequency sessions with the capacity type “ultra” for the production environment can be ordered as of 15 June 2023.

For more information on the new capacity type, please refer to the respective Circular 029/23 published on 17 April 2023.

Market Status

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

Please find further information about incident handling in the Emergency Playbook published on the Eurex webpage under Support --> Emergencies and safeguards. Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message. 

We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.
