Nominated Person

We are excited to announce, that with this release Trading Participants will be able to register the Nominated Person in eXas via the Member Section. The new digital service has been designed to:

  • provide transparency throughout the registration process
  • streamline processes
  • expedite processing times and reduce Trading Participants’ effort

Only members of the Executive Board can be registered as Nominated Person. The digital process ensures this by only offering a selection of persons who have been registered as a member of the Executive Board during the regular KYC reviews.

Please note that only the Central Coordinator or Admission Administrator can start the registration process on behalf of the Nominated Person in the Member Section under the following path: Trading&Clearing Administration > Application Administration > Apply on behalf > Nominated Person.

Starting 7 December 2022, clients have the possibility to either use the paper-based registration or the digital solution via eXas. After the transition period, starting 1 February 2023, the registration of Nominated Persons will only be possible via eXas.

This new digital service does not require any action for the rollout.
